My name is Agnes Stewart and I have known Lisa for over 20 years. We attended the same church, but, really came to know one another through our Mary Kay business. Lisa has blessed my life in many ways, but I think the most important has been how she has impacted my marriage. My husband and I have been married for 51 years and had never communicated well about money. With Lisa's encouragement I started to embrace working with the finances around my business...then with our family finances. When talking with Lisa about money and my marriage, I knew she believed in my marriage. It was not easy to speak up about "change" regarding our finances, but I realized if I did not speak up, I was doing more harm to the marriage. As I prayed and stepped out, Lisa was always there with a calming voice of assurance. It has not been an easy journey, but now I feel as though I love my husband more than ever before because there is trust and transparency regarding our finances in our marriage. I could not have taken this journey alone...I needed a voice on the end of the phone encouraging me and praying for me. Lisa and Keith have been a wonderful example of what a godly marriage should look like. I am so thankful they are both in my life.

When Gary & I met Keith & Lisa we had his funds, my funds, and our funds. We hid purchases and I sarcastically referred to my husband as “Mister!” when I didn’t get my way. Since going through financial coaching, we have our accounts. We do weekly budget meetings. We hold each other accountable on spending and meeting our goals. Now when I refer to “Mister” it’s out of love or endearment. The real change came when they invited us to church! Whew Chile...Game Changer! Although we began to bicker again over tithing as our faith grew, we started tithing 10% and have not looked back.  You talk about blessings beyond measure. We started paying off more debt, attending church consistently, and started bible study. Bible study has allowed us to check our thoughts, beliefs, or the way we were raised against bible principles. The intimate setting is nonjudgmental. We ask any and everything we hear or think. It has allowed us to see each other through the lens of Jesus. We will forever be grateful for God going before us and finding us the most amazing Mentors when we did not even know we needed coaching. We have been married for almost 25 years.

Keith and Lisa helped our marriage [by] providing an avenue to develop trust and communication with one another through a financial lens. I took a Financial Peace course hosted by Keith and Lisa, and they truly challenged me.
